An Important Announcement About Bridge Ministries

Dear Friends of Bridge Ministries,

I must admit that it seems like just yesterday when my family and I were up all night for weeks on end along with countless volunteers and staff painting rails and the underside of ramps and setting up at the new facility. In fact, the entire Bridge history from 1999 seems like a flash, though I know that literally thousands upon thousands have been impacted by Jesus in this ministry and will continue to be for a long time to come. There have been countless sacrifices and incredible amounts of effort put forth by God’s people in these fourteen years of ministry! Thank you to all who have participated in the workings of God at Bridge Ministries.

God is still at work here, but He is changing our course. As of May 18, 2013 Bridge Ministries will turn over operations at our facility to Victory Ministries Unlimited. We will retain stewardship of the property for the foreseeable future and will lease to Victory Ministries. The property will be utilized for God’s Kingdom and for all ages. We are extremely excited for and support fully the efforts of Victory Ministries. This new leadership will allow the investment in our facility to be a blessing to more and more people.

Bridge Ministries will cease teen outreach operations but we will seek God’s direction on next steps. Our leadership team and staff will take the next few months to pray and, if God leads, to plan a new teen outreach. As of now, the most important thing God is speaking to us is this: He has commissioned his Church to reach the lost through the power and presence of his Holy Spirit. We must connect our kids during their teen years directly to the Church. Otherwise, there is a danger that teens may form their Faith identity around a place or a program that is not as readily available nor as wisely administrated as his Church.

We cherish the lessons we’ve learned. Our only hope is to honor God and to reflect properly his heart and his mind to this generation.

Effective Dates:

Autumn Ramp Park will cease all regular operations and open hours after April 13th, 2013.

Middle School Programs (Saturday Night Party, After School) will cease regular operations after May 18th, 2013.
